KIA Sportage

With the aim to build a higher-quality SUVs, Kia Motors developed the model Kia Sportage early 90s. From September 1994, the vehicle in Germany was available. The production for the European market took over in the early years of the German company Karmann. Since 1998 is again produced exclusively in South Korea. The chassis of the Kia Sportage initially corresponded to a South Korean Jeep, which was sold briefly in Germany under the model name Retona.
