By the start of the 2000s, the SUV markets was picking up very much a lot of consideration both from makers and auto purchasers the world over. In 2002 the original Sorento turned out with two alternatives transmissions, a 5 speed manual and a 4 speed automatic. This was later replaced into a 5 speed sequential beginning with 2005. The engine originated from Hyundai and it was a 3.5 twofold overhead cam V6 with 192 hp. The auto comes in two trim levels, a base bundle and the LX form which included alloy wheels, step bars, mist lamps, leather-wrapped steering wheel and a rooftop rack.
