Ford Explorer 2001
(2001-2005)
The 2001 model Explorer is a piece of the third era, since the first model turned out in 1991. This era brought on a complete overhaul for the auto, shedding its Ranger-like appearance. The car's inside was broadened to fit a third column of seats. The auto had both programmed and manual transmission fitted to the all-wheel drive footing. Trim levels for the auto were named Sport Value, Sport Choice, XLS, Sport Premium, XLT and Limited.
