Acura TL 2003

(2003-2008)

Acura presented the new 'Concept TL' amid the 2003 New York International Auto Show. The new TL model highlighted another aerodynamic optimized look with a more extended hood, bigger front-end air admissions, a five-sided grille and a progression of jet nozzles supplanting the standard windshield wipers. Likewise, the new TL accompanied a V-molded break beneath the storage compartment and double exhaust funnel. All these new components were expected to deliver a more "solid" look to this third era Acura TL. This model went on sale on October 6, 2003 and was brought together in Marysville, Ohio (from 2004 to 2008). Minor redesigns were made to the auto in 2005 - front wheels Brembo 4 Piston brake callipers and higher horsepower ratings - and 2006 - Tire Pressure Monitoring System. In 2007, the Acura TL included an updated outside, new suspensions and a standard XM NavTraffic navigation framework.
